Course


The college trains students for the B.A.M.S Degree course. Ayurvedacharya (B.A.M.S. ­Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) is the only recognised Degree in Ayurveda all over India from June 1977.
The course is envisaged by the central council of Indian medicine, New Delhi. The duration of the course is as follows.

Duration of Course (Total 5½ years)

The B.A.M.S. degree Courses is of a duration of 5½ years.

First Professional course 18 Months
Second Professional Course 18 Months
Third Professional Course 18 Months
Compulsory Rotatory Internship 12 Months

B.A.M.S Degree holders are eligible for Registration in the Central or State Ayurvedic Boards. Their Status is at per with any other Medical graduates in India. They are eligible for appointment in Central or State Govt. Ayurvedic Medical Services.
